Your favorite gals have been throwing you parties and showers, purchasing dresses and shoes, and raving about your bridal beauty for the past year… Now it’s time to say thanks for all their hard work, but what should you get them? I’m here with a round up of ideas that any bridesmaid would love to receive!
1. We love anything with a monogram around here, so a robe or getting ready shirt personalized for each of your ladies is right up our alley! They make for adorable getting ready photos and are a keepsake they can use long after the wedding day.
These monogrammed robes can be customized from Etsy seller, Designs by Celia. Check out the available options here.
2. Everyone loves the gift of pampering. Fill a cute clutch or bag with travel size lip gloss, perfume samplers, and a fab nail color to let the girls treat themselves the day of the wedding and afterwards.
3. Heading out of town for the big day? Make it a trip to remember for your girls with personalized beach towels and koozies from Haymarket.com.
4. Have a group of coffee drinkers? How about an adorable mug from Anthropologie and a Starbucks gift card or bag of coffee. Want to take it a step further? Choose a novel or coffee table book you think your girls would love to browse!
5. Giving the gift before the wedding events begin? Think a “Will you be my bridesmaid” gift? How about an adorable planner with plenty of room the schedule in all the upcoming wedding festivities? We love these from Lily Pulitzer.
You can’t go wrong with these, or any other gift that you think your girls will love! How are you planning to say thanks to your gals?
Our fourth edition of “Gowns that are Gorg” features one of our long-lasting favorites, the Enzoani Diana. The Diana is a mix of a classic lace with a modern silhouette. Available in white or ivory with an ivory or grey belt, the Diana is truly a gown that works for the most traditional church ceremony or a rustic outdoor wedding. The sweeping train, intricate lace straps, and deep sweetheart neckline set this gown apart from its lace counterparts.
We are so excited to announce our upcoming sale extravaganza! We are making room for new fall inventory, and we can’t wait to see our beautiful samples find their new homes… Join us Saturday, September 21st for a first look at the new markdowns, and to take advantage of discounted prices on the rest of our merchandise as well.
For our customers’ convenience, we have added a new mobile number in addition to our store line. You can reach us by call or text at 440.241.1934 to set appointments, ask questions, or request Leo’s News updates!
Being an intimate bridal boutique, we are given the chance to work one – on – one with each of our customers and hear all sorts of feedback about the lines we carry, bridal trends, and the types of gowns our clients are looking for. This gives us the opportunity to alter our inventory often and carry only the lines we find are customer approved. Essense of Australia is just that. Tried and true, we find this line to be a Leo’s customer favorite because of their gorgeous designs at a reasonable price point.
These are some of our favorite Essense designs:
Style 1264, a gorgeous lace gown with slight beading and capped sleeves. This versatile gown could set the stage for a rustic outdoor wedding or a traditional church ceremony.
This stunning Essense gown, style 1388, is a mix of lace and luxe taffeta. The traditional lace, offset by the shiny, crisp taffeta blends traditional and modern perfectly…
This sleek luxe taffeta gown, style 1367, has a removable lace overlay for two completely different looks. A low back and gorgeous lace sleeves make this a truly unique gown.
To see more details on these gowns and others by Essense of Australia, visit their website here or make an appointment to see them in person here at Leonardo’s! We can’t wait to see which Essense of Australia style is your favorite!
Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back and I’m counting down the days ’til I can break out my boot collection. Even though it’s still 80 degrees here in Cleveland, I can’t keep my mind off the upcoming season! Here at the shop, we’ve been hearing more and more about all of our lovely brides’ fall wedding plans. Barn and vineyard weddings are huge right now and we’ve got a round up of decor, dresses, and gowns that’ll fit right in to your fall fête plans!
This gorgeous bouquet with it’s traditional fall colors would be perfect for an Autumn affair!
This rustic tablescape sets the tone for the perfect barn wedding complete with burlap signs and caramel apples! We love the idea of a caramel apple at every place setting as a place card holder or a favor to take home!
Looking for something more glam to fit in with your fall theme? Try black and white basics with metallic sprayed pumpkins, gourds, and leaves to dress up your table!
Whether you’re sticking with the traditional fall color scheme or going with more of a neutral palette, our bridesmaid designers have styles and colors to suit any wedding party. Bill Levkoff in Plum, WTOO in Stone
Leo’s Jim Hjelm Blush 1057 is a fan favorite for church, outdoor, beach, and barn weddings. A champagne satin underlay to the gorgeous lace sets the perfect tone for a fall wedding. Check out more of this gorgeous gown in real wedding photos here.
We love our gorgeous gowns here at Leo’s, but what we love even more is seeing our gals’ wedding visions come to life! The perfect dress and bridesmaids’ attire can shape your wedding into what you’ve always imagined, and we can’t wait to see how it unfolds!
Today’s feature boasts one of our newest designers, Donna Morgan, and her fabulous convertible dress, the Blaire. The Blaire is a short sweet style that can work for every bridesmaid in her own way, and can totally be worn again! And we’re not just saying that! The dress has additional chiffon panels both in front and back can be tied in seven different ways to give each bridesmaid a unique look. In the look below, the Blaire is shown in the cheerful Lemonade color, just one of the 18 available colors, with a few of the different strap options.
The addition of the Blaire to Donna Morgan’s line gives brides the option to create a more traditional, uniform look throughout her party, or to let each bridesmaid mix it up and wear the straps in whichever way she is the most comfortable! Worn strapless, halter, one shoulder, v-neck or capped sleeves you can’t go wrong with this adorable dress!
We’re back with another gorgeous gown to share this week! One of our new spring samples, Martina Liana #463. The detachable off the shoulder sleeve piece and optional sparkly belt give each bride the versatility to create her own look. Love the look of sleeves but want your arms free for dancing all night? The wrap around sleeve piece comes off with a few simple buttons and makes it easy to transform your look from day to night.

We’re back with the second dress featured in our “gowns that are gorg” series!!! Do you see the striking resemblance between Ivanka’s darling dress and Leonardo’s Bridal Boutique’s (soon-to-be) own Essense, style 1417??? We certainly do…in fact; the only things … Continue reading →

Visiting my mom this weekend, we stumbled upon one of the magazines she used back in the early 80’s to plan her wedding to my father! She pointed to an ad for the gowns she selected for her maids in a shade of perfect peach! Low and behold, her bridesmaids wore Bill Levkoff dresses…who knew one of our most versatile bridesmaid’s designers was around WAY back then 😉 (sorry mom)! Thought you all might like a little maid’s style comparison “now and then”. What a difference 30+ years makes! HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!
